ARTISAN Capital Group pursues value-add and opportunistic multi-family investments. ACG includes two platforms, market rate multi-family and student housing with the former being Midwest-focused and the latter having a national strategy.

ACG targets opportunities that are often overlooked by institutional firms due to market size, age, financing complexities and other factors. Our investment team's deep base of knowledge of various markets and our thorough underwriting methods enable ACG to efficiently review and analyze both on and off market opportunities.

Our extensive experience has also built countless relationships with investment and mortgage brokers as well as other owners in our industry which in turn assist us in acquiring high quality assets.
Criteria
Our acquisition team targets well-located communities with the following criteria:

Strategy
Value-add and core-plus market rate multi-family, student housing and mixed use communities with urban and suburban locations. Will consider age-restricted and LIHTC opportunities.

Geography
Midwest focus for market-rate multi-family and a national strategy for student housing.

Size
For market-rate, prefer 200 units+ and for student 200+ beds. Prefer $20,000,000+ deals that contain physical and operational value-add and also will pursue non-stable opportunities.

For both platforms, urban in-fill (pedestrian for student) and suburban locations that are considered “A” or “B” submarkets.
