ARTISAN Management Group announced today the appointment of Darcy Geerdes as President, recognizing her leadership role in guiding the firm’s operations, platform strategy, and growth across its expanding multi-state portfolio.

In her new role, Geerdes will lead enterprise operations, technology transformation, and the expansion of third-party management as ARTISAN continues its evolution into an institutional-grade operating platform. The firm is ARTISAN Capital Group's property management vertical and currently manages the majority of ARTISAN Capital’s more than 7,300 apartment homes across Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska, with corporate offices in Des Moines and Chicago.

Geerdes brings nearly 30 years of multifamily leadership experience across market-rate, affordable, student housing, single-family, and mixed-use portfolios. She is currently leading the firm’s largest enterprise transformation to date, including the implementation of a new property management system and integrated operating infrastructure designed to support scalability, institutional reporting, and long-term growth.
